What changes when you convert PDF to PNG
- Every page of the PDF is rendered as a sharp image (150 dpi) and saved as PNG. A single-page PDF gives one PNG file.

- Pages are drawn on a white background, so the images have a white page color rather than transparency.
- Text and vector drawings in the PDF become pixels, so the result is a picture, not selectable text. Password-protected PDFs cannot be converted.
