Please read these Terms carefully before using EasyImageConvert ("the Service"). By uploading, converting, or importing any image via the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EasyImageConvert, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

EasyImageConvert provides online image-format conversion. Files you upload or import are processed locally on the server, converted to the format you select, and then made available for temporary download. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

3. File Limits & Technical Constraints

  • Maximum file size: 100 MB per uploaded or URL-imported image file.
  • Daily quota: 20 image files per user, per calendar day (UTC), across uploads and URL imports combined.
  • Files larger than 100 MB will be rejected.
  • When your daily quota (20/20) is reached, additional conversions will not be processed until midnight UTC.
  • The converter supports only the formats listed on the homepage and converter pages. Formats not advertised are not supported.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not use the Service to:

  • Upload, import, or convert any illegal content, including material that infringes copyright or trademark rights, child sexual abuse material, non-consensual explicit content, or content that violates any applicable law.
  • Upload malware, ransomware, viruses, scripts, executable files, or any file intended to cause harm — even if disguised as an image.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, the 20-files/day quota, or any other abuse-prevention mechanism.
  • Make automated/bulk requests, run a competing conversion API through our endpoints, or cause denial-of-service style load.
  • Attempt directory traversal, token guessing, cross-job access, or any security probing of the Service.
  • Use the URL import feature to scan private internal networks, metadata endpoints, or IP addresses belonging to private ranges (SSRF attempts).

5. Temporary Processing & Automatic Deletion

All image processing is temporary:

  • Uploaded files, converted output files, ZIP archives, and job metadata are stored only for as long as necessary to serve your download.
  • An automated cron cleanup script runs approximately every hour and permanently deletes files older than the retention window (currently 1 hour).
  • There is no permanent image storage. There is no database of converted files.
  • We do not claim ownership of your files, and we do not use them for any purpose other than performing the conversion you requested.

6. Unsupported Formats & Failures

Not every format combination is supported on every server. If a specific format (for example HEIC, AVIF, or RAW formats) is not available on the server where the Service is hosted, the corresponding conversion options are automatically disabled at runtime. If a conversion fails for any reason (file corruption, unsupported format, out-of-memory, etc.), the Service will return a user-friendly error message and the temporary files will be removed during the next cleanup pass.

7. Your Responsibility & Rights in Uploaded Content

  1. You retain full copyright and ownership of images you upload or convert.
  2. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the lawful right to upload and convert any given file.
  3. We do not review files for legality. You remain responsible for any consequences of unlawful content you submit.

8. Disclaimers & No Warranty

The Service and all materials on EasyImageConvert are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee:

  • Perfect output quality for every format pair (lossy formats such as JPEG/WEBP/AVIF introduce inherent compression artifacts).
  • Uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free operation.
  • That a file downloaded will be identical to a third-party converter's output for the same inputs.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall EasyImageConvert, its operators, hosting providers, suppliers, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, or business interruption) arising from or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties or limitation of liability, so this section may not apply to you in full.

10. Availability & Right to Suspend

We reserve the right, at any time and without notice, to temporarily or permanently suspend, modify, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) for maintenance, security updates, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or any other reason.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EasyImageConvert and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, costs, and reasonable attorney's fees arising out of or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms or Acceptable Use Policy; (b) any content you upload, import, or convert; or (c) infringement of any third-party right by your actions or your content.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the website operator is located, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time by posting the updated version on this page. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the date of the latest material change. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
